Bret joined oslund.and.assoc. after receiving his MLA from the University of Minnesota in May of 2007. He comes to us with a broad background in the Fine Arts, Arts Administration, and Graphic Design. He holds a BFA in Fine Arts, with an emphasis in Sculpture. His involvement on projects has mainly focused on college campus and small-site urban design. Bret's interests lie in creating distinctive site details that enhance experience of the site while reinforcing the comprehensive vision of the design. He was awarded the 2007 ASLA Honor Award in General Design for his submission (In)Security: Access and Anxiety in the Wall Street Financial District, an exploration of security interventions in post-911 urban design.
