sandra rolph
associate, ASLA, LEED AP

Prior to receiving a MLA from the University of Minnesota, Sandra completed a MSc degree in Physical Geography at the University of British Columbia, Canada with a focus on arctic ecology and climate change. The Minnesota Chapter of ASLA awarded Sandra with a Student Honor Award for her outstanding graduate design explorations in Venice and the Pacific Northwest.
Sandra's skill in blending scientific and design thinking makes her an excellent addition to the studio, as does her proficiency in 3-D modeling, design graphics, and construction document development. Her involvement on projects ranges from Campus Master Planning to small-scale site design, with a focus on academic campuses. As a LEED AP, Sandra works to blend the worlds of science and design by contributing her deep understanding of the ecological function of the environment and its ethical stewardship to each of her projects. She teaches a course on sustainable landscape design and planning at the University of Minnesota.
