David joined oslund.and.assoc. after receiving his MLA from the University of Minnesota in May of 2001. David's involvement on projects ranges from campus master planning to detailed residential design. His interest in design and abilities in creative writing and graphic design have proven to be an invaluable resource. Drawing on this unique combination of creative writing and design skills, David has helped to produce many of the master planning documents for our clients, as well as new marketing materials for the firm. His thoroughness and attention to detail have been the cornerstone to the success of our award-winning master plans. David’s professional interest in the public landscape find him involved in a wide variety of public policy forums. His ability to influence the design of public places has been an asset to local neighborhood groups, not to mention the city as a whole. His other interests include the design of contemplative landscapes, Japanese design & theory and academic exploration & teaching.
